Today was a perfect Sunday, until…something ruined it.

My family was having a small get together at my grandma’s place, they made food. I came a bit late because they didn’t tell me til last minute.

My grandma started lecturing me about having a girlfriend. Apparently, a relative of mine saw me with Victoria and told my grandma. They didn’t say where or when, hmm…

First of all, shady as hell that my relative sees me around but doesn’t say Hi or whatever.

Two, my personal life ain’t your fucking business. You don’t need to go tell my grandma that I’m with a girl. What if the girl was just a friend? Well lucky you, the girl I’ve been with lately is my girl and damn proud to have her as my girl.

Three, My grandma needs to LET GO. It’s a new generation, girls be getting pregnant at 16…not when their in their late 20’s or early 30’s. So naturally people are in relationships younger than back in the day. I’m 22, whats wrong with dating or having a girlfriend??! Funny thing is, she said: “You are still 18-19, no dating!” Sorry grandma, time flies by and I’m not your little grandson anymore…I’m 22 and growing up faster than you realize. My grandma will never know what Victoria means to me.

So freakin’ frustrated over this.

Hahha, home on a saturday night! YUP thats right, I didn’t even go out last night either. :)

Honestly, this week has been one of the roughest weeks at work in a long time. I don’t want to get into detail, but I’m glad I have the weekend to just be lazy and relax. It’s only going to get busier at work which means more stress!

Went out to Wash Park with a few friends who play for Dub-Stomp, I just wanted to run around in my cleats again. Lacing up my football cleats, randomly gave me the chills. It reminded me how important it was to me, it was something in my life I could truly say made me happy. It also brought back all the memories, the good and bad.

I had a few dropped passes, I wasn’t disappointed as I usually would be, I’m rusty and thats what happens when you’ve been away from it for several weeks. Cutting, & getting out of my breaks felt normal, my speed & quickness is definately still there, AND most importantly no pain in the elbow and almost full range of motion! :D But…my cardio was terrible, as I expected, I was gasping for air after 10 minutes. Can’t wait til Tuesday, its been way too long. I want to be on that field, underneath them lights…

My love life, isn’t where I thought it would be. After my break-up with Megan and a couple ‘hit-and-MISSES’, I thought I was going to stay single for a long long time. I always heard of the quote, ‘Greats things happen unexpectedly.’ It couldn’t be any more real.

Victoria not just walked but marched into my life because I said something as simple as, ‘Hey!’ She’s already seen me when I’m at my best and even when I’m at my worst. Regardless, she is still by my side no matter what and understands that I am not perfect. Could not ask for anything more & could not be any HAPPIER! :D

Oh yea, on the 27th it’ll be exactly two months since we first started talking. Damn, time sure goes by fast huh…

Hahaha, thats how I feel. I just wanna go up to the mountains, the highest peak and just scream as loud as I can, WOOOOOOO!! I can’t complain about my life, everything has been great. Last summer I remember saying, this has been the best summer yet…but boy am I wrong. This summer has already topped it!

I have been reconnecting with old friends, I guess we all can drift and do our own things but memories will never go away. I used to be very close to John & Scott, after I got with Megan last summer we drifted and I’ll admit alot of it was my fault. I’m one of those guys who gives his all to his girl. Work was a big factor too and still is, I can’t go out like I used to.

Not just old friends, but my current & new friends are building a stronger bond. Without them, I wouldn’t know if this summer would be as great as it is.

Global Dance Festival, WOW! Avicii is one of the new up-and-coming DJ’s in the electronic dance music scene. He only got to spin for an hour and a half, I wish he spun for another hour!! Everyone is all up on Skrillex’s balls, but seriously…Avicii, hands down…amazing. My street brother from Houston has been in town so I took him out to saturdays set. He always wanted to dance to House, he really enjoyed it since the whole rave scene isn’t huge in Houston.

Victoria, I can’t say enough about her. She makes me smile all the time, I swear I’m going to get wrinkles faster than I should. But I can’t complain, alot of people wish they had someone who could do that. I feel sooo lucky to have her. It’ll be two months since we’ve talked on the 27th of this month, it feels like its only been a couple weeks. Thats a good thing right?? Just the beginning to something I feel, will be amazing.

Oh yea! I know I’m not cleared to play an sports so I’ve missed the past three football games. The most recent one was the toughest to watch, knowing I can be out there to do something, help my team out. I’ve decided that I’m coming back in tommorow’s game. I know everyone has advised me not to and to just take care of myself. I feel comfortable enough to be out there. Can’t wait to lace my cleats up! :)

Soo Casey Amthony got her charges of first degree murder dropped, even though she lied to the court. But Rodger Clemens is getting 30 years in jail for something he didn’t even do, our justice system is messed up.

Well today my team had a game & they played very well, I was proud to be cheering them on from the sidelines. But…it was hard to stand aside, I wanted to play. I wanted to contribute! Final score was 30-6, no one else got hurt. The team dedicated the win for Marty & me, since we are out for the season due to injuries.

My boo visited me today with a gift, shes full of suprises! Seeing her for an hour or for the whole day, it makes my day better, ALOT better.

I can’t believe her past guys let her go, they are idiots because shes a great girl. All mine now, theres no way I’m letting her go! :)

Happy July 4th everyone!

Its not always about the fireworks, beer, bbq’s and the weather. I thank all those who are enlisted in the service & everyone in the law enforcement agencies, for keeping our great country free & safe!

Anyways, I guess I won’t be spending time with my boo today even though she was supposed to plan today. I’ll be watching the firework show by myself this year.

Yesterday I had a game against Kobra Kai, when I got here…once again, my team mates all looked tired and out of it. Of course we started off slow, I think that Hmong tournament and injuries to Adrian & Marty had us thinking too much.

Down 7-0, we were on defense and I saw the runningback last second, I stopped to pull his flag but he pretty much lowered his shoulder, threw a forearm into me and ran me over. His forearm caught me right in the throat. While laying there I couldn’t breathe, it took me awhile to catch my breath. I guess I was glad it wasn’t lower or else it would of been my collar bone.

I took the next several minutes off, watching from sidelines trying to get myself together. Chris asked me to sub-in since he was tired. Our team was facing 4th down and a few yards, we needed it badly. The play was designed for me, I ran…caught the ball, spun away from the defender for the first, while doing so he missed my flag…pulled my jersey insted and spun me a different way. I placed my hand down to brace my fall but my hand got caught in the ground and my arm locked up, making my elbow hyper-extend. I felt and heard some crunch in my elbow, the pain pretty much put me into shock. I layed there hoping elbow was still together…scary.

Went to the emergency room at 9:30pm-ish and checked in. Didn’t get looked at until 4am, apparently alot of people were getting rushed in to the hospital on ambulance, result in big jam at the E.R. My boo rushed to the hospital when I told her, she stayed with me the whole time and took me home afterwards around 6am. What she did for me, showed me alot about her! She’s something special, what I call…a keeper.

The x-rays didn’t show any fractures, phewww! The doctors were worried about any nerve damage, sketchyy! Hopefully my recovery is 100% without any bumps in the road. Really bummed abt this injury AND it had to be my dominant arm too!

Tournament

Got off work at 2 and made it to the last two games of the day for my team in this hmong football tournament. I met up with her for a bit and we went over to my team, my whole team was like TONY!! and immediately asked if I brought my cleats, shorts, and gloves. Pshhttt…c’mon, of course I came prepared. :)

Apparently theres this team there called Legions and Wizards, they apparently had a problem with me because one the guys on that team is her EX and some were her friends. I didn’t care, I don’t like being around drama.

In our final game for the day, Legions & Wizards were on the sidelines watching us, out of no where one of them started talking shit to me. I threw my hands up in the air like they do to get the crowd pumped up and said: more! i wanna hear more! They continued to talk shit so I kept chanting; ‘Big talk! Big talk!’ Yeaa I kept instigating it but you know what, they don’t even know me so they just need to sit there and STFU!! What a buncha haters, jealous too obviously. I hope my team beats them tommorow, I really want to play in the game but I gotta be at my friends bday…arghhh.

New Season!

Its been several weeks since the last season ended on a very bad note, losing to A-Unit with 34 freakin’ seconds.

Last tuesday, our first game of the new season was against the most recent champs, Notorious MSG. Oh, we did not forget the 30 to something beating they gave us. We came out hard, take the lead all the way til 2 minutes left in the game. Our team had a melt down, we did what Lebron James did best, disappear when the game was on the LINE. Yup, we lost to Notorious MSG 19-16 in the final minutes. FML!

Tonight, we took on Decepticons! Last season we smashed them after they talked so much trash. I guess they consider us their rivals, good for them. I got love for alot of the players on that team because they are my friends. I got into it with this big white dude on their team cause he was playing dirty, I guess him talking shit back fired me up. The next play, I snatched the ball over a defender and out ran two guys for the touchdown. GET SOME! We won tonight 18-7.

It didn’t even there, she came out to my game again! It was definately T.V. time! I know she can show up, but she actually watched…ME. She saw everything I did and was my #1 supporter the whole game, its one of the BEST feelings in the world. After the game, I walked her to her car and we had our very first kiss.

Things are going, great… :D

Everyone goes through their ups and downs, sometimes more down than up, sometimes consistent, or whatever else…its an unpredictable rollercoaster.

Looking back, I used to be so outgoing, daring, care-free, and actually enjoyed every moment of this short life we got. I went through a stage where everything just sucked, wasn’t myself.

But lately, I find myself smiling alot. Bonding with new & old friends, even co-workers. Work has become a place I enjoy being at, joking with all the guys there and making the day fun so it goes by faster! The bond between me and every team mate of mine on Purple Drank has gotten stronger, we understand each other. I also find myself living life care-free, making the most of it. Finally, I feel like I can be myself completely, not having to fake a smile or hold back.

A big part of it might be her, the things she do and the things she say, so dorky, so cheesy, so…care-free also. Sometimes one person can really have the biggest impact on you at that moment. :)
